what are wickless wax warmers

It depends on the company, but most wickless wax warmers are a safe, flameless, wickless alternative to candles.

Most warmers use some sort of heating element, may it be a lightbulb or a hotplate to heat the wax. The wax is put onto a dish which then touches either the lightbulb or the hotplate. The warmer only heats up to a certain point, to warm the wax and doesn’t cause any injury.

The warmers and the wax together are perfect solution for any home since there is no flame, no smoke, no soot and no lead. They are the perfect solution for families, those with pets and those with breathing problems since there’s no triggers, and the wax is non-toxic.

Scentsy’s what is

There are a variety of different companies out there that sell these types of warmers. The big names you might have seen around social media are Scentsy, Pink Zebra, Partylite, Walmart, Glade wax warmers. The list can go on and on. Each one has their pros and their cons, however they all have no flame, and no wick.

Each company has their own values and makes their own wax and warmers differently. However, they mostly work the same way. It’s best that after reading this blog post, if you have more questions keep reading the blog when new posts come out and do your own research by either reaching out to consultants from brands like Scentsy, Pink Zebra and Partylite who can most likely give you the most correct information based on your questions and concerns.

Limited time offers what are they

Scentsy is amazing company. Every so often, they launch items – like buddies, waxes, warmers, etc. – for a limited time. In the past items have included, NHL, NFL, MLB, Harry Potter, Nightmare Before Christmas, Disney Princesses, Marvel, and the list can go on and on.

Currently there are 4 collections that are out for limited time.

First up, we have Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck from the Looney Tunes. They come with their own Scent Pak as well, and you can get your own bar of wax. The scent is called Looney Tunes and the description is: A nostalgic, Saturday-morning splash of apple juice joins ripe red berries and sugared cherry to bring the Looney Tunes vibe home. Doesn’t that sound delicious?

Next up, we have our Captain America warmer. This warmer was out once before however, in typical Scentsy and Disney fashion we put it back into the vault for safe keeping. It’s out now but for a limited time.

Collection number 3 is a really cool one. We call it Glamorous You. It contains wax, warmers and even Scentsy Buddies! You can buy the wax as one collection, or just on their own. You don’t even need to get everything in the collection, you pick and choose.

Collection 4 is the best! In my opinion. It’s the Genie from Aladdin. You can get him, or a wax bar. This buddy is the coolest one. There’s not 1, but 2 pockets! One is on the back of Genie, the other is the lamp! How cool is that?!

Now, these collections are only while supplies last. I suggest that if you want any of these collections, don’t delay, just click/tap on the photo and shop right away!

What is there for my car?

Your car, its your home away from home. Most people spend on average 80 hours a month driving just to and from work. Yes, these days we may not be driving to the office and back, but we still need essentials. And the car can still stink.

Scentsy has a few solutions for your stinky car. Check out this list below:

  1. Scentsy Car Bar – Delivers fragrance for up to 30 days, just hang it up from your rearview mirror and breathe in a new adventure every day! It does last 30 days on average, but can last longer or less depending on the scent. And it comes in a bunch of different Scents.
  2. Scentsy Car Bar Clips – These clip to your car vent, this makes it easier for the air to distribute the fragrance and its compact size makes it have a low profile. This comes into a pack of 2.
  3. Scent Circles – These also go on your rearview mirror but are made of cardboard. these on average do last about 30 days, but depending on the scent it can last longer. This comes in most of the Scentsy scents and some have cool sayings on one side.
  4. mini fan diffusers and Scentsy Pods – These are pretty cool. So the mini fan diffusers work by being plugged into your car via a USB port, then you use a Scentsy pod of your favorite Scentsy scent. Just put the pod upside down into the mini fan diffuser. The Scent pods are filled with no-spill fragrance beads, and they provide up to 120 hours of fragrance depending on the scent. Each pack contains 2 pods of the same scent.

With so many options for your car, what can do wrong?

Check out all the scents and mini fan diffusers available by clicking on the links in the list! Enjoy the scents for the car and hopefully we can all go on a road trip soon

What’s there for kids?

Kids deserve their own products. May it be different scents that are more children friendly, or just products that resonate more with children than adults like plush creatures. Different scented companies have a variety of different items made for kids. Companies that have kid-friendly products are: Scentsy, Young Living, Discovery Toys. Let’s take a few moments to talk about each company and what they have for kids.

Discovery Toys: this company specializes in children’s toys from birth to 99. They even have toys for children with Autism and Special Needs. Most of their toys are educational in nature even if the child playing with it doesn’t know it. Check out this video of their toy called Measuring cups:

Why use Diffusers?

Source: https://cavivarudberg.scentsy.ca/shop/c/4435/diffusers

Diffusers are great in spaces where a warmer and wax will not do. With diffusers we don’t need to worry about messes, and staining on surfaces such as wood, tile or other material.

Diffusers are also great for spaces where it’s not safe to have wax around. Diffusers use different scents than wax and warmers. Yet the oil scents are similar to the waxes and their scents [depending on the brand], this way if you are someone who likes wax, but you want to start diffusing oils you can transition into them, then use the oils to mix new scents.

It’s important though that you find a diffuser that can work in your house the way you want it to. It’s also important to research all the different companies you can get a diffuser from and the guarantees that each company provides on them incase something should happen.

Let’s take a look at a couple of companies and guarantees.

For example: Scentsy. They offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty states that diffusers are “warranted to be from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. Any diffuser found to be defective or damaged under normal use and care will be replaced with the same, or comparable, product at Scentsy’s discretion.” Scentsy Diffuser Product Registration | Scentsy Warranty.

Here’s another example: Saje. They offer a lifetime efficacy guarantee. “We stand behind the quality of our diffusers and will take back any unit that is no longer functional. Bring it into any location or connect with our Customer Experience team, and we will happily repair or exchange it — it’s our lifetime efficacy guarantee. In order to protect the environment and reduce waste, we do not accept returns on previously used functional units.” Shipping & Returns (saje.com).

Let’s look at Young Living. There policy is quite confusing. The website states, “If you are a Young Living customer or professional account customer and are dissatisfied with any Young Living product, you may return: any unopened product within 30 days after shipment for a full refund in the same method of payment of the purchase price and applicable sales tax (less shipping charges).Any opened product within 30 days after shipment for a credit on your Young Living account of the purchase price and applicable sales tax (less shipping charges).Any opened or unopened product up to 90 days after shipment for a credit on your Young Living account of the purchase price and applicable sales tax (less shipping charges and a 10% handling fee). The credit applied for opened product will be based on the percentage of the product returned. For example, if you return 50% of a product, then a credit of 50% (less shipping charges and a 10% handling fee) will be applied to your Young Living account.” Basically, what the policy is saying is that you have up to 90 days to return any product. Young Living Essential Oils.

doTERRA has an interesting warranty as well. The warranty is, “Warranty – This essential oil diffuser, as well as all other doTERRA products, come with a 90-day warranty against manufacturer defects. If you have any issues in this time period, do not hesitate to contact customer service to find out about getting a replacement or a refund without any questions or hassles.” However, you do need to contact them directly to get the product replaced. Their contact info is here: Contact Us | dōTERRA Essential Oils (doterra.com).

It’s important to know the guarantees or warranties that are offered when it comes to your diffuser, just incase you have issues while using them.

Diffusers come in a variety of shapes and sizes, with different scents. Want to learn how to diffusers really work? Use this link: How do Diffusers Work? – Carla Aviva Scentz the ………….

How do I use oil?

It’s quite easy! The oil goes into the diffuser where the water goes (this location varies on the diffuse) with the water. The oil can be mixed with other oil scents but know that unlike wax where you can see a new colour, you will get a new scent.

Real life video of a Scentsy diffuser in use with oil

In the video the shade is on top of the location of where the water and the oil go. However keep in mind each company makes their diffusers differently so the location can change. It’s best to refer to any manual or written material that came with the diffuser for more information

How do Diffusers Work?

Diffusers work by using water with oil. It’s best if the water is cold. Each company has different oils and diffusers however most companies let you use other branded oils in their diffusers.

The basics for most diffusers work in the same way though. you lift the shade, add water into the base add your oil into the water, replace the shade and turn it on and enjoy.

It’s always best that if you have questions to reach out to a Scentsy Consultant, Young Living Consultant or Doterra Consultant who knows their diffusers the best.

The Fleur – Gray Deluxe Diffuser (scentsy.ca) is smaller in shape, and only comes in one colour. Compared to the the regular diffuser it’s cheaper at $86 compared to the $185 and up for the regular ones. The regular ones come in different shades but all fit the same base. Young Living: The website shows 4 different types of diffusers, they come in different shapes, sizes and how they function. An example of a diffuser that they sell is a Car Vent Diffuser | Young Living Essential Oils, it uses oil that goes onto a cotton pad that sits in the diffuser, that diffuser goes onto the vent of the car. They also carry diffusers made for kids such as the Feather the Owl Diffuser | Young Living Essential Oils. It’s in the shape of an owl, it takes their regular oils and oils made just for kids.

doTERRA: The website shows 4 different types of diffusers. One of them is called Pilot Portable Diffuser | dōTERRA Essential Oils (doterra.com), its a portable diffuser its similar to the Scentsy Portable Fragrance System – Flameless, Wireless & Wax Free | Scentsy Go.
